Lazer Krazy

So when Jeremy (youth pastor @ UBC) and I (youth pastor @ b3) set out to do this event at Lazer Kraze, we were hoping to get 50 students total.  84 showed up!

After a chaotic mixer where your friend became your chair, and a few rules for the night, we were off to the event.  Once things got underway, it was high energy for a couple of hours straight.  With Skee Ball, Air Hockey, and a DDR King in the house, the Arcade was pretty sweet.  McGillikutty was glued to the NASCAR game.

The Inflatables Room was a popular one.  If we took a vote, I imagine the obstacle course would rank on top for most fun.  After getting a few hilarious races on tape, I moved to the Boxing Ring = most exhausting.  With Greg Lee as the Ring Master, the fights were PayPerView worthy.  From there, the slide, the joust (aka Bloody Knuckles), and soccer w/ a basketball round out my Top 5.  Oh yeah, and the Petting Zoo, consisting of a mouse and a Twisted Frito.

And finally, Lazer Tag.  Best game?  Elimination.  The Red Team seemed to be dominating the night.  The key: take the high ground.  I believe my exact words were, and I quote, “We’ve gotta get mad tactical!”  Yep, I am a Lazer Tag nerd.  And proud of it.

Thanks for an amazing night.  Students, you guys made it a blast.  Leaders & chaperones, we wouldn’t have had fun without your help.  Lazer Kraze staff, you made it easy.

Let’s do it again next year.
